Located in Greensborough, BCA Accountants and Financial Planners has been providing clients with a friendly, personal service and expert advice on accounting, taxation and business support for the last 17 years.
Director of BCA, Andrew Mill, commenced working in Public Practice in 1989 with Haines Norton Chartered Accountants after graduating and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant from Swinburne University. After five years he joined a boutique CPA practice in South Melbourne where he advanced to Partner level at just 27 years old and four years later, left to start his own firm BCA. Andrew specialises in Accountancy, Self-Managed Super Funds, Business Structures and Financial Planning.
Andrew was raised in Rosanna starting his early working life as a paperboy and then moving on to becoming a bottle shop attendant at the local pub. He played local football at Banyule FC and has volunteered for many years with the AFL Auskick Junior Coaching Program. Living in Panton Hill for the past 20 years, and being involved in the local football Club he, is now entering into his 2nd year as President of the Club.
Andrew and his team at BCA started growing their client base by a combination of networking and hard work as well as providing personalised service to small business. Five years ago Andrew became qualified as a financial planner and registered BCA Financial Planners Pty Ltd, who are licensed through Dover Financial Advisors Pty Ltd AFS License number 307248, to provide financial planning advice. Andrew explained that unlike most other financial planners he has the advantage of providing the tax and structure advice which is lacking in most Planners skill set, “this has allowed us to provide holistic financial advice. Our financial planning service is more centralised around self-managed superannuation funds, direct investments, risk insurance and property. Asset protection and tax minimisation are the common themes which in turn leads to wealth creation”.
When time permits in his busy practice, he and his wife enjoy working, and relaxing, on their family farm in Mansfield, where they breed Black Angus cattle. With three active teenage children Jackson, Chelsea and Lucy weekends are busy as well. 19 year-old Jackson is also now following his father and studying at University and working in the business.
