Web Strategies Creative and Marketing Director Mike O’Shea, has worked in advertising and marketing since the late 60s in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Born in London, Mike attended the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe and has a Bachelor of Applied Management. He has been a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants, the Australian Marketing Institute and is a Member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Mike has developed exceptional strategic business consulting, marketing, writing and workshop/one-on-one training expertise in both Australia and the U.K.

He has facilitated, written and directed national and international business and marketing campaigns for a broad range of corporations, not for profit organisations and government departments.

Mike has worked as a consultant and guest lecturer in communications at Universities and TAFE Institutes within Victoria and the UK. He has run his own advertising and marketing consulting companies since 1972. He has facilitated over 50 RDV and Business Victoria group delivery workshop programs, with in excess of 450 participating SME companies across Victoria, covering Strategic Business and Marketing Planning, Website Development, SEO, Social Media, Risk Management and E-Business.

Mike was appointed by the Victorian Department of Education to launch a marketing campaign for the Victorian Education Foundation, partnering with all Victorian TAFEs and Universities. He worked with many Victorian TAFEs to write and deliver workshop based training programs to assist and introduce the concept of ‘fee for service’ operation.

Mike wrote and designed the initial ‘Government to Business’ communications material for Business Victoria. He was also commissioned by the Education Department to edit and simplify an extensive range of communication documents for Government Green Paper discussion on changes to Tertiary Education in Victoria.
