Dr Stella Parissis and Dr Maria Liosis graduated together from RMIT University in 1994. They both completed a five year Bachelor of Applied Science in Chiropractic.
Both Stella and Maria have continued to study extensively the role of the brain and nervous system. Their expertise in this area allows them to support patients in many varied situations ranging from spinal problems to improved vitality. As a result, their work involves the total person, with as many different facets as possible.
The two inseparable friends took over the practice together in 2001. They also retained the indispensable services of Robin, the Practice Manager for the last 30 years. The team are all very well known throughout the local community of Clifton Hill.
Stella and Maria are members of a number of professional bodies including the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia and the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. They are committed to their ongoing professional development through continued study and courses.
Dr Nick Gentile joined the practice in 2013. Like Stella and Maria, Nick is passionate about creating lasting health change through chiropractic and patient education. Nick runs regular workshops both in the practice and at various community groups in the area. As well as a Bachelor and Master of Clinical Chiropractic, he also holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a major in Ergonomics. When not ‘adjusting’, you are most likely to find Nick either at CrossFit or watching one of his beloved football teams!
Stella and Maria are passionate about exercise and run half marathons, raising money for a different charity each year. They’re building up towards a full marathon this year!
